The PAMANA OF GAINESVILLE or the PHILIPPINE AMERICAN ALLIANCE OF NORTH AMERICA was officially founded in 2012 through the leadership of the first President Lito Izon.
Before 2012 the group of dedicated people organized and conducted gatherings for the community on the traditional celebrations back home as well as the religious practices and love of sports activities.
The most talented couple Caesar and Celine Cabading now residing in California had dedicated their time and efforts organized these traditional activities.
The presidency was followed by Darryl Amoguis in 2015. Her husband Aying Amoguis had done a big role of his talents in helping his wife term of her administration. Then on 2017, Jerome Valencia became the next President followed by Melody Angeles in 2019. Nick Gamad is the present President and his term of office will be until the end of 2023.
Pamana of Gainesville in 2019 registered its new name a not for profit organization was granted by the US IRS a tax exempt from the federal under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3). This application, process, and fees was initiated by the generosity of John john Madamba.
Goal:
To uphold and strengthen our Filipino cultural heritage through Family and youth development, education, sports, charity and religious practices.
MISSION:
We are committed to develop, undertake various projects and activities to serve the needs of the Filipino-American Community.
VISION:
A proactive Filipino-American Community living harmoniously with unity, respect and integrity.
